Takis Barberis has an impressive anthology of releases, considering the Hellenic Jazz scene is still in its developing phase. This is all the more acknowledgement for his compositional talent, and an ear for atmospheric details when recording in the studio. His choice of musicians has also become a trademark of Barberis, being able to pick out those who will give rise to the music without blurring its intention.
