kinds of cliché music forms into one song, Slapheads' Soliloquoy.
1994 As

of Community Theatre (ZACT), attending a 10 day Training of Trainers
workshop in Harare. Made good contacts with several Community Theatre
artists & organizers.
Set up the New Breed Tulips project with Choreographer
Jolanda Spoel in Utrecht, creating a cross-cultural Dance-act for
a peace festival in Israel. NBT was a depiction of the current youth
community in the Netherlands, the fact that 'ethnic' Dutch as well
as Morrocan, Antillian, Surinam or Asian youth live together in one
hybrid society, retaining their cultural heritage aswell as creating
a new one. The dance Element became a combination of 'stepping' (with
origins in African Tambu & Gumboot) on wooden cloggs and Jazz-dance.
The music composed by ASTYNOMIA also brought in some Arabic influences
into the funk-groove. Element was never performed because of the
increasing dangers in Israel, the festival was called off.
1995 March-May. For
the International Theatre & Education returned to Zimbabwe to work with ZACT for three
months. In Southern Matebeleland, working for a month in the colliery

and some comic sketches. these where all performed on the specially
created Zvakanaka Nyama Day before local community and politicians.

and directed the play 'Hapgood' by Tom Stoppard for the International
Theatre &
Education course External Directing Project in Athens, Greece. Worked
with students of Campus Arts & Sciences college in Kifissia. Inspired
by Robert Wilson's Theatre of Vision (Einstein on the beach, Dr.
Faustus lights the lights, The black rider) the accent of this production
was more on the visual and musical aspects rather than text. Theme's
like quauntum theories, double-identities and defected Russian spies
where packaged in a game of shadows and silhouette's in sounds of
Phillip Glass and the St. Petersburg quartet.

three sketches with no seeming connection, but then repeated in a
different order. The first three are the deja-vu equivalents of their
real life counterparts, the last three. A story of commitment to
family or lover (free life) is developed within. Kroatian actor Karlo
Severdija plays the lead part of Brady, Steven Groenen plays Francescoli,
Marcel Harmsen Ghandi and young Paulo, Albert Riley Freud, Aristotle
